We have nearly 75 years of experience helping our clients build, customize, revitalize and maintain their facilities. From commercial to light industrial to agricultural to personal use buildings, Urban Construction Company serves the Central to Northern Wisconsin area.
In need of full-fledged design and engineering ? Not a problem. We have designers and an engineer on staff to ensure your plans are submitted to the State for approval. This streamlines the construction project, potentially saving multiple weeks!
Here at Urban, our crews erect any building with a metal component. We employ our own steel erection crew have fabrication team if needed to assist on the project. That means we own the timeline and quality control of the project. We take great pride in the fact that we’re known for the quality of which we execute and deliver our work.

Urban History
We get a lot of questions about our name. Our name “Urban” comes from our founder, George Urban. (We were originally called “Urban Steel”). Because we are skilled in more than steel, “construction” was better suited to encapsulate all we do. We updated our name to be Urban Construction Company in 1990. So, Urban doesn’t mean what one originally thinks when hearing our name.
